Traffic
by Purple Dreamer
During the 20th century there has been a lot of traffic going on. There is traffic everywhere. One of the places well known for having traffic is in the Philippines mostly, on the highways.
If you ask why there is traffic, it is because highways are always under construction. There are also some rallies and accidents that are going on that causes a lot of traffic. Storms and typhoons can also cause traffic.
When passengers come in and out of their vehicles it takes a lot of time. Especially the disabled. When the road is wet vehicles will be driving very slow so they wont get into any accidents. So those are some ways how traffic starts.
There are many people who are affected by traffic. The people who go to meetings and appointments hate traffic because they have to go extra early so they will be in time for their meetings and appointments. Sidewalk vendors, commuters and people who walk on sidewalks are also affected by the pollution of the vehicles.
During Mondays and Fridays there is heavy traffic. Streets near school areas carry a lot of traffic especially when there’s school. Traffic is already part if our daily life so we might as well get use to it.
Owls
by Oreo
Owls are seen in many movies flying solo. Most of them are solitary and nocturnal. They are found in the regions of the earth except Antartica and most of Greenland.
They have so many descriptions. Some of them are that they have large eyes. They are far-sighted.
With their eyes, they are unable to clearly see within a few inches. In movies, they act that they have big eyes so that they can clearly see things. But that’s not true.
There are many different kinds of owls. Each of them makes different sounds. They talk a lot. We people, hear them and they seem to say “who-o-o, who-o-o” when they hoot.
Their eggs are usually white. They’re almost spherical too. The eggs are laid in intervals 1-3 days and they don’t hatch in the same time. These are the descriptions of an owl that I researched in the internet.
Life of a Polar Bear
by Cockroach Kid
Polar bears are white furred bears living in cold areas like the arctic area. They are known to be the largest land carnivores and one of the fastest swimmers in the world. Polar bears are solitary land animals.
Polar bears are solitary because they usually hunt for food and often hunt seals. Polar bears aren’t solitary during breeding or when they’re taking care of their cubs. This shows that the male polar bear is solitary because they hunt for food for the family or for themselves.
Polar bears live in very cold areas like the arctic. They are very dependent on ice because that’s where they live and keep their family safe. Without the ice, it would be very hard for them to hunt food and to stay alive.
Polar bears are different from ordinary bears not just because they have white fur and live in cold areas but they don’t hibernate during winter. They are very solitary animals and are very dependent to ice.
The life of a polar bear is very unique compared to other bears. These bears are solitary animals and dependent on ice. Even if they don’t hibernate during winter, it is still part of the bear family and these are what make it unique.
